Secluded family friendly camping and glamping domes. In the Brecon Beacons with panoramic countryside views!

About AberGlamping

AberGlamping unfolds across secluded hillside pitches just outside Brecon, where panoramic views sweep over the Beacons and surrounding countryside. The site centres around its geodesic glamping domes—comfortable pods that make a particularly good fit for families wanting a bit more shelter without sacrificing the camping feel. Campfires are encouraged, and there's WiFi if you need to stay connected, though the setting invites you to switch off.

Facilities cover the essentials—hot showers, drinking water, clean loos—and the family-friendly atmosphere means children have space to roam safely. Note that pets aren't permitted, so plan accordingly. It's a peaceful, straightforward base for exploring the national park, with Brecon's shops and cafés a short drive when you need to restock.

If you want a break from modern life with a sense of tranquility I can think of no better spot. One of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. Such thoughtful and welcoming hosts with every convenience to make your stay feel like you have all the benefits of camping with none of the drawbacks. We visited in May and the farm is truly alive with birdsong and wildlife in general. The land is clearly managed with biodiversity in mind alongside the care given to the organic livestock, giving it a beautiful character. Well worth trying some of the local meat available for purchase if you enjoy cooking on an open fire.

Near perfection! AberGlamping has managed to perfectly hit the sweetspot where it still feels like camping, but with none of the hassle or discomfort of camping. The geodesic domes are a lot of fun. The beds are a great size, very comfortable and toasty warm. The woodburner was easy to light and warmed the dome beautifully, even as the outside temperature dropped below 5°C at night. The kitchenette was well-stocked and the gas hob was very convenient, but the fact that it also had all the kit for cooking over the fire-pit made for a great and fun alternative. The shower-room/toilet in the converted horsebox was very nicely done, and although the water-temperature was rather tricky to adjust, you could still have a good shower after a day's hiking. The opportunity for the children to feed the newborn lambs was the metaphorical cherry on the cake of a great stay!

A stunning location on a beautiful farm (we went for Jacobs Sheep Trekking). The nights were a little chilly in March, we hit a cold snap, but the duvet, blankets and stove made us super cozy. There lots of equipment in the dome, everything you'll need, and it was great fun cooking outdoors

Our first time Glamping, great location, great facilities, lovely walk around the farm estate,🐏🐑🐐🐖 funny looking sheep. Lovely waking up to the morning chorus of the birds in the distance. Everything was provided in the kitchen, outside BBQ was cool. Only 20 minutes drive from Pen Y Fan.
