About Onnenfawr Glamping
A base for a Brecon Beacons break with mountain views, heaps of open space and comfy shepherd's huts to cosy up in by night? Say 'oh yes' to Onnenfawr Glamping and all this shall be yours.
This peaceful organic farm sits within the national park, close to the River Crai and 25 minutes' drive from Brecon. Woodland and waterfall walks, mountain scrambles, horse riding and watersports are all easily accessible, plus you can hire mountain bikes on site. Seeking some alfresco idleness instead? Amble down to the river to fish for trout while the small sorts splash about on the stepping stones, or let them loose in the fab playhouse with its swing and games table.
After days filled with activity, you'll be chuffed to retreat to your handmade hut with its private deck and hot tub, taking in gorgeous views or gazing up into starry skies. Inside: a comfy double bed, woodburning stove, underfloor heating, ensuite bathroom and petite but well-equipped kitchen. A barbecue completes the picture for outdoor feasts.

Gorgeous place , all taken over by our party of 17 adult couples. Excellent rooms, some unsuited, beds + pillows comfy. Great kitchens. The only disappointment was there was way too much chlorine in the hot tub by the big barn... it stripped the colour from my swimsuit. The other hot tub we tried was ok. Definitely would return + recommend . Great walks all around the whole area.

Quiet retreat nestled in the hills. Various barns and cottages available for self catering holidays. There's plenty to see and do nearby, especially if you enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and walking. Phone reception and WiFi aren't great due to the remoteness. This is definitely more of an escape place.

Lovely cottages. Partners family hired all 3 for a long weekend. Beautiful tools, beautiful beds and linen etc had everything we needed. Beautiful views in a stunning location. Parts could do with a bit of tlc and some DIY. Perfect for a massive family gathering or hire the smaller houses for smaller groups. Well worth it. Games room could do with a fair bit of work. Pool table held up by chairs but didn’t really want to use them anyways when you have so much else around. Didn’t even get time for a dip in the hot tub.

Had a fab long weekend for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. 25 of us descended on Brecon. We occupied the 3 properties which were just what we needed. Plenty of space for the children and adults alike. Thank you for lending us your property, 😀
