Popped in for a meal with my coeliac and milk allergy children, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, understanding, and genuinely happy to help with their dietary requirements. Nothing felt like too much trouble. The food was amazing, and the whole visit exceeded my expectations. It was such a positive experience, and it was reassuring to eat somewhere that took allergies seriously while still making us feel so welcome. We'll definitely be back!

A Charming Village Inn with a Wonderful Atmosphere We had such a lovely stay at The Griffin Inn. From the moment we arrived it had a warm and genuinely welcoming feel. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Soft beds, peaceful surroundings and waking up to birdsong and lambs in the distance was simply idyllic. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic. Friendly, attentive and nothing was ever too much trouble. It created such a relaxed and easy atmosphere throughout our stay. One of the highlights was seeing locals enjoying the pub too, which gave it a real sense of community and authenticity. It honestly reminded me of the pubs we visited as kids. Board games, laughter and that cosy welcoming atmosphere that is so hard to find these days. A truly special place and we would happily return.

Stayed here a week and found it so nice we chose to stay a few more days! The bar is very traditional looking but with up to date drinks and cocktails. We had IPA's and fruit ciders mostly chatting to the locals from the village who were as friendly as the staff. Pleasant background music kept low so it didn't disturb our conversations. The horse brasses and fishing rods and casts of past catches remind you this is the Wye Valley with it's beauty and fishing heritage. Log burners used if it's chilly. There's lots of views of the gorgeous front of the Griffin Inn so I've posted one from the side which shows the accomodation wing better and shows how it's away from the bar and is very peaceful for a great night's sleep. We enjoyed the fish & chips special lunch and the Pizza lunch. (Sorry I had eaten some of the fish and chips before thinking of taking a photo). We had the continental breakfast always and was lovely each morning. They even got some Marmite in Specially for me. Happy to oblige fellow marmite lovers coming after me. Don't be afraid to ask the staff if you would like something a little different. I found them most helpful and would go out of their way to accommodate us. We stayed in a canopy bed with delightful ensuite.

Lovely place near Brecon, the hotel was great and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were a bit cold, so they gave us an extra heater. The rooms are tidy and cozy, ours also had a modern TV and Netflix. Highly recommend the place! I believe they are also nominated for an award? They definitely deserve! A lovely place with character.
