About Anchorage Caravan Park
Tucked just outside Brecon, Anchorage Caravan Park makes a comfortable base for exploring the Brecon Beacons and surrounding Powys countryside. The site keeps things sociable with its bar, clubhouse and on-site restaurant, while a games room and play area give families somewhere to unwind after a day's walking or cycling. There's a shop for basics and a launderette on hand, plus you can park right by your pitch.
The local area delivers plenty to do – sailing, fishing and golf are all nearby, and horse riding routes thread through the hills if you fancy a different perspective on the landscape. Dogs are welcome, so four-legged companions can join the adventure. It's a relaxed, well-equipped spot that won't win design awards but does the job nicely for anyone keen to get out into this corner of mid-Wales.

What absolutely lovely people. I only stopped in to swap a gas cylinder on my new van and the staff were just incredible. I’m not super handy and they not only supplied the new bottle but very kindly installed it for me and then trouble shooted when it wasn’t working. (an isolator switch i hadn’t known about!). Friendly and hugely knowledgeable. Lovely looking site in a sweet spot. If i didn’t happen to already live locally I’d be booking a stay! Big thanks

An excellent site in a handy village location with lovely views. Great for hillwalking and for exploring the National Park and nearby towns. Owners do a brilliant job keeping the park and facilities clean and friendly. Love it here.

Fantastic site. Spotlessly clean facilities. The entire site is very clean and tidy. The bathroom areas appear to be brand new. Nice and warm. Plenty of hot water. Dog and child friendly. Great area for walks. Nice and quiet. Good for getting into Brecon and Abergavenny. A little Morrisons shop just outside the site entrance. It seems to sell everything. Best of all, really friendly owners who were very helpful. Would highly recommend this site.
