About Millfield Caravan Park

Tucked into the village of Three Cocks at the base of the Black Mountains, Millfield Caravan Park occupies a quiet, level field just a five-minute stroll from the local pub. The owners are friendly and helpful, and there's even a microbrewery on site if you fancy a pint at your pitch. An unexpected perk: a beauty salon for campers who'd rather not let their barnets go entirely feral on holiday.

The location puts you within easy reach of literary Hay-on-Wye, the mighty River Wye, and countless Brecon Beacons walking trails—perfect for combining mountain rambles with browsing bookshops and riverside picnics. Facilities are straightforward: well-kept toilet block, showers, a small shop, and a garden centre within a couple of minutes' walk. Campfires and dogs are welcome, and there's gas, chemical disposal, and recycling available. It's a peaceful, no-frills base that's ideal for walkers, cyclists, and anyone wanting quick access to both the Beacons and the Wye Valley.

Wonderful site. As a solo female camper I felt very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Fantastic location for exploring the east Brecon Beacons. Would recommend!!

Nice quiet little site, Friendly owner. We parked quite close to the road but only heard a bit of noise early on, plenty of room to pitch away from road side anyway. Pub just down the road looked nice but closes early on Sundays.

I stayed here on my cycle across Wales and a cracking little campsite it is. Peter the owner is very friendly and helpful. There is a great pub for food very close by. It's by a main road but it's not busy at night.
