Please read the reviews carefully before booking. This place is really bad value for money. I paid £111 for a “deluxe double room”, but the room was absolutely not deluxe — just mediocre. Room 10 : The bed is the most important part of a hotel room, and this one was unacceptable. The mattress was old and uncomfortable, and worst of all, the slatted bed base was broken. I have back pain, and this is definitely not what I want to come back to after work (see picture). I had to use the duvet as a makeshift mattress topper. Did you seriously try to fix it with tape? This is supposed to be a hotel. A slatted bed base costs around £35, that’s the bare minimum for a room at this price. The wardrobe had no hangers, the blackout curtain does not fully cover the window, and the room did not exactly match the description or pictures. – no bath in my “deluxe double room”, – no extra-long bed, – missing toiletries at check-in (fixed by staff, they provided me with soap when requested) Also I was greeted by the smell of sewage/urine in the morning when leaving my room, it seems to be a recurring issue according to other reviews. Please furnish your rooms with decent beds and update the booking platform with accurate photos of all 14 rooms. That is the bare minimum. Positive : Nice staff and easy check-in. The bed and bathroom were clean, and the staff was helpful.

You get what you pay for. It definitely wasn't a disaster but I will say it was a bit strange coming to seeing lots of people asleep in the reception area. For me checked out we had to wake some poor guy up. He was on a camp bed behind the desk. Maybe air the rooms out a bit more as they smelt a bit when we went in but it can't beat the price for one night

The people working therw were really nice and friendly. They made me feel welcome and had a good sense of humour. The hotel was in a good location, beds were comfy and the showers were nice

Leaving this review on behalf of my husband who has just checked out from two nights of staying here. Room 14 stinks of sewage every time someone in the building flushes the loo you can smell it in the room. The carpets are filthy (see photo) burn holes in the bedding (see photo) He didn’t even have a shower as it was filthy. The porter was asleep on a camp bed behind the check in desk. I wouldn’t stay here again even if I was paid to. How this place is even open is beyond me. Customers were sat in the middle of the bar area smoking weed. Never again I’d give 0 stars if I could.
