About 27 Brighton

27 Brighton occupies a Regency townhouse on Upper Rock Gardens, its period façade giving way to a compact, five-room B&B with a more contemporary feel inside. Each room has been individually decorated, so no two are quite alike, and all come with en-suite bathrooms and free Wi-Fi. Guests can also make use of luggage storage and a 24 hour reception, useful for early arrivals or late trains.

Breakfast is included and served on site, setting guests up before a day exploring the city. The house sits within easy reach of the seafront and the Lanes district, with pubs, bars, restaurants and eateries all close by. Those wanting to be more active will find watersports and fishing nearby, alongside plenty of entertainment options scattered around the town.

It's a small, personally-run sort of place rather than a large hotel, suited to guests who want individual character over uniform corporate rooms. With five rooms in total, it stays intimate, and its position on Upper Rock Gardens keeps the seafront and Brighton's main attractions within walking distance.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It had so much character, the room was done up beautifully. The room had a lot of pleasant additions like cold water waiting for us in the fridge and extra hand cream and vanity kits in the washroom which was so nice after a long time spent travelling. The room was small but there was plenty of room under the bed to store luggage. The tv was nice. The location was perfect, a quiet quaint street that lead right to the water, and a lovely view of the garden out back. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and frequently checked in to see if we needed anything or had any questions. Also the suggestions of the restaurants they shared were great! Overall, a lovely stay would recommend! -Madelena and Amanda

Only needed it for 1 night but wish I could have stayed longer! Really comfortable single room! Great communication with the host from the outset. Great experience. Would not hesitate to recommend!

cozy and lovely room. small but well thought and perfect for a single traveller. there was no in person exchange, everything went through (smoothly) by texts. situated right near the sea front but 15/20mn away from the popular street of Brighton.

The room I stayed in - Great. I had the smallest, which is perfect for 1 person. I would Live in a room like this, even though it is pretty small, it's that nice. Best shower I ever had. The service - good. I had the foresight to request a contact number - that was how I got the Wi-Fi password, which was not provided otherwise. The location - Okay. It's a long residential block away from the action, and as a solo traveler I wasn't sure I wanted to navigate that alone after a pub crawl late at night
