Brighton Caravan and Motorhome Club Site

LOVE brighton campsite. We stay here a lot with our motorhome and huge fifthwheel (plenty of space and large porches) and the campsite staff really look go above and beyond to look after us. The campsite is a well oiled machine, everything works like clockwork and is immaculate. Short stroll to the beach or bus stop, so great location. Set by a beautiful park with view point and great sunsets. Can’t fault it!

We joined the Caravan and Motorhome club because we previously stayed at sites with no rules and it just did not work for us. Unfortunately we have just returned from this site and did not have a relaxing break as planned. The first day a group of about 6 people were playing music quite loudly and one woman in particular did a lot of screeching! Whilst I appreciate people enjoying themselves and I like to hear people laughing and having fun, this was a little over the top. ( I have a feeling someone complained because thd next day they toned it down) on the day the wardens let it carry on. Then two sets of couples pitched up on the same pitch! One campervan and a car with a rooftop tent and an awning! The wardens allowed this and said they could stay! They had a reactive dog who they kept letting off the lead! So we had to take our dogs into the van. They left all their rubbish on the floor after going to bed and in the early hours of the morning the seagulls were pecking at it! So basically broke most of the club rules. Positives , the site pitches were well kept the toilets and showers were clean ( although a check later afternoon or early evening wouldn't go a miss). Good park next to the site for dog walking. Easy walk to the marina and if you dont fancy walking into Brighton you can jump on the electric train. We only did it one way, to come back to the Marina and walked back to the site. Unfortunately we wont be going back.

Perfect for our visit to Brighton for the marathon. Easy to get to on the outskirts of Brighton, close to the marina and plenty of open green space and parks. We arrived shortly after 1pm and used the fast check-in although our payment hadn't actually been processed so the guy suggested that we find a pitch and then pop back to reception to settle-up once we were settled in. We were on 'white' pegs, which with the use of the handy site plan, was easy to find. We had electric but no water or grey waste so we pulled up next to the shower block furthest away from reception and filled up with water, and then made our way to our pitch. The pitches are an excellent size, plenty of room for our motorhome and awning, with plenty of space to spare. The pitch was hardstanding and quite level, we just needed the levelling ramps on the offside wheels. The shower block, like the rest of the site, was very clean and modern with plenty of hot water. Cleaning between 2pm & 4pm. The staff were very friendly and had arrivals down to a 'tee', making it so easy without any long queues or delays. We used the free information sheet to find the nearby bus service. The site is within walking distance of the marina and the nearest bus stop, outside the nearby Lidl store, is about ten minutes on foot. The services 1, 1x (express with fewer stops) and the 7 all provide easy access in about 10 to 15 minutes to Brighton centre, with the 1 & 1x going on to Hove and like most of England now is £3 per journey. Dotted around the site are information boards about food and drinks on offer from CHEF PHiLiPPÉ, including breakfast, lasagne, pizza and of course tea, coffee and hot chocolate, which is situated next to reception. There's plenty of seating right next to the cafe. We paid just over £100 for two nights, which wasn't too bad considering what was an offer and available on the site. So all-in-all a really convenient and well managed & maintained site that's ideal for Brighton and Hove. We'll definitely visit again. Ok I say room but I mean campsites and pitches … great site really friendly staff, onsite food available which is really good. The facilities are 5 star lots of hot water multiple shower and toilet blocks. When you arrive check in took less than a minutes. Drive on find a free pitch and you text them the pitch number. It’s in the edge of the town but the main promenade is easy to get to. Well definitely book again.
