We had the a wonderful night at the Southern Belle for our first time in Brighton. The hotel and pub are both so well decorated and cozy. We loved the design in the room, especially the bathroom tile! The breakfast was great, and we were sad we missed having dinner in the restaurant. I appreciated staying a little away from the center of town on a bank holiday, but it was just a couple of minutes walk down the beach. Also some great restaurants and places to sit in the neighborhood. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I'm in Brighton!

Super little hotel with a great atmosphere. Staff were all friendly and helpful - we felt very welcome and comfortable. The decor is gorgeous 😍. Room was large and had everything we needed. Bathroom had was fabulously designed and large. Clean and tidy throughout. Comfortable temperature and tucked away from the main street so no noise.

My stay at The Southern Belle was the best! As soon as I set foot in the pub, I could tell this place had such a special and cosy atmosphere. We stayed in Room 1, it was super cute, spacious, authentic, and comfortable, with a sea sideview. We had drinks at the pub, and the fantastic waitress made me the best Bloody Mary (I asked for a mezcal variation). I could tell it was prepared with lots of love. Breakfast was great too (included in the room rate), and the service from check-in to check-out was just super friendly and lovely. It’s located in Hove, the beach walk to the centre is amazing, and there are also many buses day and night (just two stops). My only regret was leaving so soon, next time I’ll stay much longer!

My partner and I decided to book a room here over a few days while visiting Brighton. Evie, and her team were very helpful and welcoming. They also recommended things to do/see in Brighton which was really nice! The service, location and the room itself was amazing. Very clean rooms, with everything you need. Would highly recommend! The breakfast was also fantastic!
