About Winford Manor Hotel

Cheddar Gorge is within reach for a day out, and Bristol Airport is close enough to make Winford Manor Hotel a practical base for early flights or a stopover either side of travel. There's a golf course nearby too, along with local pubs and restaurants for those who fancy exploring beyond the grounds.

The hotel itself occupies a 17th-century building on Old Hill, with 22 rooms that lean towards a relaxed, unfussy style rather than high formality. Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, and family and accessible options are available. A British restaurant and bar serve meals on-site, with breakfast included and free WiFi throughout. Outside, there's a garden, picnic area and outdoor seating for making the most of quieter moments.

The hotel also handles weddings, with a bridal suite and meeting rooms for events or business use, plus concierge and laundry services for guests staying longer. Free on-site parking and airport transfer options add convenience for anyone travelling to or from Bristol Airport.

Perfect for a last night or a start to your holiday. Only a short drive from airport and taxi there was reasonable and on time, even with us needing an early morning pickup. Staff very friendly. Hotel is very nice with great landscaping. There are some gorgeous rooms in the older part but newer part very comfy. Shower was a bit odd in configuration.

Booked this hotel for my son to get an early morning flight from the airport. Arrived at 3pm and what a warm welcome we received from Reception, we were taken to our superior twin room which was located on the ground floor, the room was spacious, warm and had really comfy beds. We had a lovely evening meal in the bar area, food was tasty and plentiful. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we didn't get to stay the whole night as my son was taken ill and required an ambulance to hospital. I would personally like to thank the wonderful Lotte who phoned the ambulance, assisted with keeping my son safe and supported me throughout the difficult time, she stayed with us until the ambulance door was closed. Lotte you are a credit to the hotel! I would definitely return for a hopefully less eventful stay in the near future.

I stayed here for three nights in a double bed room. I was happy with the customer service, the peacefulness of the area, the very fast free wifi, the free parking, and the hotel rates. I was unhappy only with the cleanliness levels and the smells in the hotel. If you're looking for a peaceful stay, do weigh these factors. I'm sharing pictures and video of my room and marking the noteworthy things in them.
