About Dunollie Hotel
Broadford sits under the shadow of the Cuillin Hills, and Dunollie Hotel makes the most of that setting, offering a solid base on the Isle of Skye for exploring the surrounding hills and coastline. With 84 rooms, it's one of the larger places to stay in the area, giving it the feel of a proper hub for visitors rather than a small guesthouse.
Rooms are en-suite and straightforward, and the hotel runs a restaurant and bar on site along with breakfast each morning. A garden gives guests somewhere to sit outside, and reception operates around the clock, which suits early starts for walking or late returns from the hills. Pets are welcome, useful for anyone travelling with a dog for the outdoor life Skye encourages.
Broadford itself has further pubs, bars and restaurants nearby, along with fishing and watersports for those wanting to get onto the water, and entertainment on hand for evenings in. The Cuillin Hills remain the main draw close by, giving guests a proper reason to base themselves here rather than pass through.
