🏡 Self-Catering Cottage

Nightingale

Wroxham, the Norfolk Broads' principal town, sits at the heart of England's most extensive network of navigable waterways. The River Bure runs past Nightingale, a terraced cottage at Peninsula Cottages where French doors open straight onto shared gardens that slope to the water's edge. A boat basin to the rear means you can moor a hired day boat steps from the property, or fish from the bank with the right licence. The town itself—shops, cafes, boat hire companies and riverside restaurants within walking distance—makes a convenient base for exploring the waterways without a car.

The cottage holds two bedrooms: a double on the first floor and a smaller room with two single beds. There is one bathroom with a walk-in shower. Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining space includes a 40-inch smart TV, electric fire, and a kitchen equipped to cook proper meals. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. A single parking space sits on site if you do drive; the pub is a short walk away and a restaurant or shop about fifteen minutes on foot.

Four guests can stay here comfortably. No smoking is permitted. The garden is unfenced and leads to the river, which lies roughly five yards from the property—something to bear in mind if you are coming with young children.
