Reedham is a conservation village on the edge of the Norfolk Broads, where the River Yare opens into miles of waterway. Two pubs and a train station are within walking distance. Riverbank Cottage sits directly on the riverbank, with a decked quay and private use of a six-seater motor launch—the real draw for anyone wanting to explore the Broads without leaving the property. The enclosed garden runs down to the water's edge, fenced for safety, with patio seating to watch the river traffic pass.
The cottage has three bedrooms sleeping six: a king on the first floor with French doors to a balcony, two single beds in a second room, and a zip-and-link room that converts to a double or stays as singles. There are two bathrooms. Downstairs, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, the living room opens via French doors onto the garden, and everything you'd expect is provided—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi. One dog stays free. Smoking is not permitted.
This suits groups wanting to base themselves on the water, or families who want the Broads on their doorstep without the fuss of launching a boat elsewhere. The village itself is small and quiet; the real activity happens on the water.
