Kingfisher Lodge is a single-bedroom property on a rural estate with two fishing lakes at its heart. The grounds span 3 acres and are shared with other guests; the lakes themselves are unfenced, so worth noting if that matters to you. The lodge itself is compact but arranged over two floors: downstairs holds an open-plan living space with a kitchen fitted for cooking and a shower room; upstairs is the bedroom with two double beds and an ensuite. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included, and there is parking for two cars on site.
The draw here is the setting. You can fish in the lakes (a licence is required), walk the grounds, or simply sit with the water visible. The location also works as a base for Norfolk proper—Norwich is 7 miles away, the Norfolk Broads are 6 miles off, and the coast is within reach. A pub lies within a mile. Non-smokers only.

This was great first experience for both of us . Loved every minute there , owner is great and friendly. No pressure, everything you need for short/long stay is there even a hairdryer 😂 , lodge is cosy ,warm ,clean and very modern. Quite place great for the break from busy everyday routine and civilisation 🩷 Great lake view from the bedroom window. It's our new getaway place in UK . Definitely be back next year . This place is hidden gem 💎 Thank you P.S. Neighbour horse Blake is very lovely and friendly,he loved his mints . Great memories 🩷

Lovely place. Very peaceful and well located for trips into north Norfolk. Well recommended for a peaceful relaxing break away from it all!
