Very friendly reception and informative. Took my 7 year old grandson fishing and he loved it. Caught some decent roach and a lovely 5lb common. Put his grandad to shame! Fished here today for the first time. You never know what you're going to find at a new lake. The welcome was superb, I was made to feel right at home. Liam gave me a map and talked through the different lakes available. The swims are very well kept and level and all make sense from a fishing point of view. There's a bunch of wildlife to see too while you fish too and a well stocked tackle shop to boot. I will be back. 👍😎🎣

2 stars for a fishing perspective. Lovely setting and facilities. However if you’re having to pay £12 for a day tickets that’s premium price then the fishery quality needs to meet their heady pricing. It doesn’t. Many pegs are over grown with weeds and not fishable. There are a few carp but stocking is neglected and left to small silver fish. Bank sides are left overgrown. The match lake was low on water, fair enough it’s been a dry summer but I’ve not seen any other lakes as low or weed choked and overgrown which ruled it out totally, making the value of the ticket even less. At best I’d pay £5 to fish here and even then feel ripped off. If you’re an angler avoid.
