The Cowshed

Broadland's position between Norwich and the Norfolk Broads makes it ideal for exploring both. The Cowshed sits in rural countryside just outside Blofield, within easy reach of Wroxham—the Broads' hub for boat hire and riverside activity—and the city itself with its castle, cathedral, museums and restaurants. Walking, birdwatching and cycling are all accessible from here, as are nature reserves like Strumpshaw Fen and several heritage railways. The beach lies 15 miles away, and coarse fishing is available half a mile off (in season, with a licence).

This thatched barn conversion is a detached, single-storey property with two bedrooms and one shower room. The open-plan living area combines kitchen, dining and sitting space, equipped for cooking and equipped with a television and DVD player. Bedroom one has a king-size bed; bedroom two contains two single beds. Heating comes from an air source heat pump and electric heaters, with calor gas available. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. A travel cot is available if needed. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with seating and furniture, parking for two cars on site, and a small ramp leads to the entrance. One dog can stay free and is welcome to use the adjacent fields on a lead. No smoking is permitted inside.
