Zephyr’s View

Bude and the North Cornwall coast draw visitors for the beaches, walking trails and working fishing ports, but the quieter spots matter just as much. Zephyr's View is a two-bedroom chalet tucked into a holiday village less than a mile from the shore, close enough that sea views reach the property itself. You get the whole place to yourself: two bedrooms (one with a kingsize bed, one with bunks), a bathroom with shower over the bath, and an open-plan living and dining space that doubles as your kitchen. Essentials like electricity, bed linen and towels are covered.

The kitchen comes equipped for real cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge all there. The sitting area has a TV and a collection of DVDs to hand. Outside, a shared garden and front patio with furniture give you somewhere to sit, though note there are three steps down to the garden. The site has its own heated indoor swimming pool, available 3pm–6pm most days (10am–6pm during school holidays), from April through November. On-site parking means you can leave the car and walk to Widemouth Bay or explore the National Trust coastline with its coves and walking routes. Smoking is not permitted inside.
