Bryncrach Farm Caravan Park
Bryncrach Farm, Hundred House, Builth Wells LD1 5RY, UK
Small, quiet working-farm caravan site between Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells
About Bryncrach Farm Caravan Park
Tucked into genuinely peaceful farmland midway between Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells, Bryncrach Farm offers a handful of touring pitches on a working farm with wide views over the surrounding hills. The scale is deliberately modest—no shop, no entertainment, just electric hook-up and basic shower and toilet facilities—which suits couples and older tourers looking for a simple, back-to-basics stopover rather than a resort-style park. Expect livestock and farm activity as part of the setting; the 4.9 Google rating suggests most guests welcome the authenticity.
The location works well for exploring Mid Wales: the Elan Valley reservoirs, the Wye valley and the Royal Welsh Showground are all within easy reach, and both Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells are a short drive for shops, pubs and supplies. It's a practical, unfussy base that rewards caravanners and motorhome owners who value peace and space over on-site amenities, and who don't mind travelling a few miles for the day-to-day essentials.

What visitors say
A fab escape from the noise and hustle and bustle of busy life. A slice of Welsh heaven, quiet with stunning views everywhere you turn and look. Quiet and filled with nature. Expect to see plenty of stunning Red kites, sheep and cows. Stella does a great job of looking after everyone and everything. We love it and look forward to every visit.

We have been coming here for years, my first experience was in our tent, then later on in the caravan. We now leave this on site to reduce the stress for my husband. Stella will go beyond your expectations to help out in anyway she can. As my husband is originally from this area it is a great place to explore and we have completed many lovely walks. Bendegedig

Good campsite with nice clean facilities. Campsite field is on a slight hill but nothing to worry about. If you're lucky and the sky is clear you can see the stars. Showers could have done with a bench and toilets having hooks on the door, other than that; perfect.
