Woodland Lodge

Woodland Lodge is a one-level property on a working farm near Hundred House, built to make the most of its rural setting. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms accommodate six guests across an open-plan ground floor, where a 50-inch smart TV, full kitchen with dishwasher and wine cooler, and comfortable living space mean you can settle in for days without leaving. Each bedroom has a zip-and-link kingsize bed (convertible to singles) and its own TV; the main bedroom has an ensuite shower.

The real draw is stepping outside. A private hot tub sits on the patio, enclosed by lawned garden with furniture and a barbecue. Beyond that lies 102 acres of natural farmland where you can walk or cycle, with paths leading across the river towards the village. A local pub is within walking distance. The location works well for the Royal Welsh Show, five miles away, and for exploring the Elan Valley's dams and bird-watching opportunities sixteen miles further on. Llandrindod Wells spa town is seven miles off. Essentials like heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are covered; there's a bike store and parking for three cars. No smoking indoors.
