About Powys River Pods
Tucked into the Mid Wales countryside just off the A483, this adults-only pod site makes a brilliant base for anglers, bikers and outdoor enthusiasts. The real draw is over a mile of private river frontage where guests can fish for trout, salmon, grayling and sewin, or launch paddleboards (with kit hire and instruction available on site). The surrounding landscape delivers excellent hiking, mountain biking and wildlife watching, while the peaceful meadow and woodland setting feels genuinely remote.
Each wooden pod comes ready to move into with bed linen and towels provided, plus an ensuite bathroom and well-equipped kitchen area (fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster). Outside, your picnic table and barbecue overlook those lovely river views. Heating and TV add comfort after days spent outdoors. It's a practical, unfussy setup that works particularly well if you've filled the car with fishing rods or motorcycle gear. The site can feel fairly large and functional rather than boutique, but for the location and activities on your doorstep, it delivers exactly what's needed.

Great little hideaway really comfortable and cosy we loved our stay and very close for fishing or hiking over the Brecon Beacons. Little gem of a place

Stayed at the pods for a long weekend. Lovely and cosy, and the site is very peaceful. Easy driving distance to the Elan Valley and Brecon Beacons. Pod has everything you need, including an air fryer. The only thing I would change is to have some extra pillows, otherwise a great stay
