Pretty good location but only 1 female shower for the whole campsite, which can get quite busy is simply unacceptable. Also if unlucky with the pitch - trip to the car for your belongings could be quite a walk. Wouldn't stay again

I love this campsite, discovered September last year and have now stayed 4 times to date. Lovely clean facilities and hot showers, very friendly helpful staff, easy check in, great location for exploring the fells and waters and a lovely all round ambiance. If you're more of a flat level marked out pitch, with streetlights, activities for the kids, need a dog park kind of camper this might not be for you, but if you love choosing your own pitch, based on ground suitability, shelter from the wind and view... You'll love it.

Lovely campsite, no set pitches and plenty of space. With a little hill in the middle of the camping field it feels a lot more secluded and wild as you can’t see everyone else in the field too. Toilet block and shower are modern and very clean. Staff were very friendly when checking in and the car park is private. Will definitely be returning ☺️
