What guests say
The Riverside house was probably our favorite B&B we stayed in on our trip to Scotland. The hosts, Brian and Valerie, were the best. They gave us a great dinner recommendation, and even wrote us a nice card for our anniversary. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were nice, and most importantly the whole place felt very clean and homey. We couldn’t stay incredibly long, but the garden out back looked like a ton of fun to hang out in, and it sounds like from the other guests that the resident dogs were extremely sweet. The breakfast was very good and made to order which was a nice touch.

Valerie and Bryan are amazing hosts. The room was cozy and lovely decorated. Because of storm Amy the power went off at midnight but still Valerie cooked us a hot breakfast - she simply used their camping gear 🤣 the breakfast was amazing and we felt very welcomed 🥰🥰🥰 we will try to be back without storm and flooding. Thank you for making us feel safe.

We had a fantastic one night stay in this stunning B&B.The garden room we stayed in was so large and comfortable, with access to the garden and view of the river. The bed was so comfortable and we had the best night's sleep of our 12 day holiday. Our hosts were lovely, as is Bertie the dog. The breakfast was lovely and we really didn't want to leave! Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Well where do I start. What a fantastic place to stay. Just 4 rooms so lovely and quiet. But Bertie the bearded Collie was the star of the show to be fair 🥰 Check in was so smooth and perfect. We were taken straight to our room, where everything was explained to us about the place. Where to go for breakfast in the dining room to going into the garden and enjoying the views of the river. We stayed 2 nights . Breakfast was absolutely top notch. From a fully Cooked Scottish breakfast. (The haggis was amazing) Also a range of Cereals, Fruit, croissants, jams & marmalade’s. Home made banana loaf, various cheeses. Just delicious. We thoroughly recommend this little gem of a find in the beautiful Callandar 🏴. The Hosts Bryan & Valerie were just so welcoming. I felt like they were long lost friends at the end of our stay. We will most definitely be going back there to stay. Thanks for having us xx Lots of love Claire & Midge ❤️
