What visitors say
Lovely park with a really welcoming atmosphere and a nice mix of people enjoying the open space. Plenty of joggers, dog walkers and families about, most with their earbuds in, but people still seemed relaxed and friendly. I’ve been coming here since 1984 and it still has the same charm and peaceful feeling about it. The grounds are well kept, there’s plenty of space to walk or just sit and take everything in, and the pond with the ducks always adds to the atmosphere. Nice little ice cream van there as well doing coffees and snacks which is a bonus on a warm day. It’s one of those places where you can easily lose a couple of hours without realising. A really enjoyable park that’s stayed consistently good over the years.

A beautiful park that’s perfect for families, walkers, and anyone looking to relax outdoors. The grounds are well maintained, with plenty of open green space for picnics, games, or simply enjoying nature. The playground is great for children, and there are lots of paths to explore. It’s also dog-friendly, making it a lovely place for a walk. Overall, it’s a peaceful, clean, and enjoyable park that I’d happily visit again. Highly recommended!

Parking was limited but we did find a space. This is a lovely place for family days, picnics and play. The paddling pools are safe and the play park areas are good for all ages. We had a lovely family day out and the grandchildren had a blast.

A rather delightful park with a stream that people love to paddle in. Beautiful greenery all around to walk around or just lie down and take time out. There is a children's park with an assortment of play equipment. At times they have a splash pool open which is very popular. Look out for the icecream man if feeling hungry. There is some parking but this gets very busy so be warned. An enjoyable place to visit
