About Centennial Hotel
Free on-site parking is the detail that sets Centennial Hotel apart, a genuine convenience for a property this close to Cambridge city centre. Set on Hills Road, it puts guests within easy reach of the centre while avoiding the usual parking headaches that come with staying in the city.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, and guests are consistently pleased with how clean and comfortable they are, though those facing the street can pick up some traffic noise, so a quieter room is worth requesting if you're a light sleeper. Breakfast is generous and well-regarded, and the hotel also has a restaurant and bar on site, along with room service, packed lunches, and drinks brought to your room for those who'd rather not go out. Free WiFi, laundry service, luggage storage and 24-hour reception cover the practical side of things, and the hotel can also host meetings and weddings.
Staff are frequently praised for being friendly and helpful, making check-in and any requests during the stay straightforward. Beyond the hotel, Cambridge itself is close by, with pubs, restaurants and other eateries nearby, and Haverhill Golf Club offers a further point of interest for those wanting to venture a little further afield.
What guests say
Recently enjoyed a lovely stay at this hotel, the price was competitive, the staff couldn't do enough to help, the room was lovely and immaculate and the onsite car park was a plus too. The included breakfast was ample (have seen previous reviews saying it was on the small side, that's not the case). Couldn't fault anything and we will certainly return to the Centennial Hotel when back in the area.

I stayed at the hotel for an interview. The room was not big, but it felt cozy and warm. It was a bit loud and you could hear the street outside, and also some light spilled inside from the street during the night, but I wasn't bothered by either. The bathroom felt a bit old, but was clean, and the room had a very nice desk. The service itself was pleasant, including over breakfast. The breakfast itself was okay but nothing too amazing, and had it not been included, I would have preferred eating outside. The location was nice and allowed us to go easily to the city centre and back
