Lensfield Hotel

I had a small single room at the top of the building, there wasn't much space but it was good value for money and fine for me on my own. Location was great, not far from the station and lots of shops and restaurants nearby, short walk into centre of town. It was a shame that there wasn't any hot food available for breakfast and at £12 per person per night it was too expensive. Staff were helpful and I was able to leave my bags on the last day while I attended a conference.

A perfect hotel if you want a scrupulously clean and central hotel in Cambridge. Do not expect a lounge, or a bar. I didn’t even pay the extra £10 for the continental breakfast, but walked 3 mins up the road to a lovely cafe.

We stayed in early April for 4 nights and had two rooms on the ground floor. The hotel is pleasant and the staff friendly. There were some minor issues (squeaky floors, some noise in the rooms on the front etc.) but nothing to worry about. Short walk to the railway station, short walk to the city. The rooms are larger than what is usually the case in Cambridge. Recommended.

I stayed here on my own for 2 nights in December and is thought it was lovely. Victorian building, with plenty of charm, features and creaks, letting you know how old and well maintained it is. My room was plenty big enough for me, a lovely comfortable bed, heating, TV, everything I needed really. Bathroom was good, all worked perfectly, no problems at all. Location is great, short walks to different parts of the city, very easy. And easy for train station too, 10 -15 min walk away. Will be looking to stay here again when I next visit Cambridge.
