Highfield Farm Touring Park

Long Rd, Comberton, Cambridge CB23 7DG, UK

Award-winning family park at Comberton, five miles west of Cambridge

About Highfield Farm Touring Park

Highfield Farm sits on gently undulating ground at Comberton, five miles west of Cambridge and close to the A428. What was once working arable farmland is now a well-tended eight-acre touring park, carefully landscaped over the years with conifers, hedging and mature trees so that the 120 pitches feel sheltered rather than exposed. Twenty thousand daffodils come up each spring—a detail that hints at the care taken here. Four modern toilet blocks provide constant hot water, there's a well-equipped launderette, and reception stocks newspapers, basic provisions and camping accessories alongside gas supplies.

The location works well for exploring Cambridge without city hotel prices. The Madingley Road park-and-ride is a short drive, buses run from the village, and the flat lanes make cycling in feasible for anyone reasonably fit. Comberton has a village pub and shop, the Wimpole Estate and American Cemetery at Madingley are both nearby, and Ely, Newmarket and Duxford's Imperial War Museum lie within half an hour. Holds Premier Park and AA accreditation for 2026.

What a lovely camping, caravan and motorhome site. The family run site is very clean, well maintained and they are super friendly. I stayed there for 11 nights and will be coming back. You can have a proper shower thermostaticly controlled and no push buttons in site to turn the water on. Obviously Cambridge is lovely and a 5 mile cycle ride away, Or the number 18/a bus. We joined the National trust and visited the Wimpole Estate (which we cycled to on the Wimpole way) and took the car the Anglesey Abbey 14miles away. We also did two local Parkruns. I hope this post is useful

Just had a fabulous weekend in Cambridge at this lovely campsite. The site was beautiful and absolutely immaculate. Quiet, well spaced out pitches. Toilets, showers and washing up area were spotless throughout our stay. Location was great, we used the bus into Cambridge which was a short walk away. Beverley and Hollie were very welcoming. We would most certainly return without looking for anywhere else when we come back to Cambridge. Thank you!

What a lovely site with a very warm friendly welcome. This is a large site but all nicely divided up with high exceptionally maintained hedges making each area feel like a small friendly site. Toilets, showers etc are all spotless with plenty of hot water. Even the toilet emptying area is one of the best i have seen. Top that off with Beverly & Kevins helpful & friendly approach & it would hard to beat.
