Canterbury

The Merchants Penthouse occupies the first floor of Eastbridge Hospital, a building founded in 1190 to shelter pilgrims. Today it's a holiday let where two guests can stay within those medieval walls, surrounded by original stone and timber while using modern heating, Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom holds two three-quarter beds arranged for flexible sleeping, the bathroom has a shower, and the living space doubles as a dining area.
Everything you need for self-catering is provided: linen, towels, electricity and heating are included, along with a welcome pack. There's parking for one car on site. The location puts you steps from Canterbury Cathedral and the wider city—a setting where history is genuinely embedded in the fabric rather than merely nearby. Non-smokers only.
