The Mount family have farmed this Kent patch for over a century, and today their fruit orchards, cobnut groves and 16th-century thatched barn form the backdrop to a gem of a small campsite. Come for the peaceful green surrounds and buzzards circling overhead, but stay for the gastronomic treats: selected evenings see an open-air bar pour the farm's own award-winning cider and wine, while a wood-fired barbecue kitchen serves food throughout your visit. did the cider tour today after doing the wine tour last year - this place is an absolute delight. Everyone really friendly - before the tour we had some Sausage & Bacon rolls, then we embarked upon the tour under the expert guidance of Howard, who also does the wine tours. The visit requires a bit of walking around 3 of the orchards and of course you have to grab a glass to take with you as samples of one of the still ciders are provided en route - a great touch that you don't always get on these types of tour. You are then taken to the 'factory' to see where the magic happens once the apples are harvested. Then you return to the spacious and airy barn you sit down to sample some of the sparkling ciders, one of which is the fizzy version of the still sample tasted out in the orchard. The styles are classics - all different, and IMO lovely, amongst our group there was something for everyone. We ended the tour sharing a couple of delicious pizzas, before heading home. I cannot recommend this haven of tranquility enough.

Camped here for the weekend and had a great time. Woken up in the morning but the sounds of Gibbons was funny. The staff there are excellent. George and Alfie were friendly and helpful. You get your own pitch which I prefer because some places we've been it's a free for all. The facilities are good I was expecting compost toilets and cold showers but nope, nice toilets and warm showers. Was told about a walk around the farm that takes you to see the elephants that are in the local zoo. The cider was fantastic. Holy diver my favourite and Bacchus wine was so good. Definitely coming back!

We spent a peaceful night here in our motorhome pitched in the nursery orchard which is about 4 minutes walk from the barn. Its a beautiful spot for off grid camping and great for listening to the wild birds and enjoying a sunset. We ate a lovely lunch and later an evening meal of pizza sitting outside the barn having a relaxed meal and sipping the Kentish Pip cider. George was a welcoming host and provided all the information we needed to get water and set up. We didn't use the showers but the toilets were spotless. Definitely will be back.

We had a fabulous day at Woolton Farm. We went on the vineyard tour & tasting. Howard was a brilliant host, he was very knowledgeable, passionate & very amusing. The wine tasting was very generous. All the staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. A really amazing place.
