Forge Cottage is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom property sleeping six in the village of Street End, just outside Canterbury. You arrive at ground level and step into a living room with a woodburner, where the main bedroom—a double with an ensuite shower—is also positioned. The kitchen and dining space sit adjacent, equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs are two further doubles: one a kingsize, the other standard size.
Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial logs for the fire. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Outside, an enclosed patio garden has furniture for sitting out, and you have private parking for three cars on site. One pet can stay at no extra charge. The cottage is no-smoking throughout.
The location suits families wanting countryside quiet within reach of the city; Canterbury's cathedral, medieval centre and restaurants are a short drive away, while the surrounding Kent farmland offers walks and cycling routes. Street End itself is a working village rather than a tourist spot.
