Sea Scape

Whitstable draws visitors year-round for its working harbour, pebble beach and reputation as a proper seaside town with independent shops, restaurants and pubs lining the streets. Sea Scape sits within the conservation area at the heart of it all, a detached house that sleeps four across two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a king bed and ensuite shower; the second holds two single beds. Downstairs, a sitting room with smart TV opens onto a dining room and through to a modern kitchen fitted with a range cooker, dishwasher and coffee machine, so cooking proper meals is straightforward. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included.
The property comes with private parking for two to three cars—a genuine rarity in central Whitstable—and a sizeable courtyard garden with seating and dining furniture. The house is non-smoking throughout. Guests tend to use it as a base for walking to the seafront in under a minute, browsing the local shops or booking a table at one of the many restaurants within a few streets. The town also hosts an annual Oyster Festival, and oysters remain available fresh from nearby fishmongers and restaurants.
