We were really impressed with the warmth and hospitality of Homelea. Fiona is a great host and we arrived to a delicious slice of homemade lemon drizzle cake and a small glass of sherry,very civilized! I requested a vegetarian breakfast and expected a veggie sausage but got the whole works (full veggie English) and my husband had his full English! We were staying there, as we had a party in the next village and were even given a lift to the event! Rooms were spacious,warm and very comfortable so all in all a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

We visited Pauline & Gerald's home on Christmas Eve and they couldn't have been more welcoming. We had been concerned that, since we were spending Christmas abroad, that we would get homesick, but Pauline and Gerald truly made us feel like family with their warm welcome and hospitality. Our space was so cute and breakfast was delicious. The highlight of our stay was the angelic choir performance during midnight mass at the church down the street, which featured both of our hosts! Located only 4 miles from central Canterbury. Very convenient. Room is nice and clean, though there is no air conditioning. Our hostess is a sweet lady, she stays up to par on the latest happenings around town, so we were well informed on what we could do.
