This public park quickly became one of my favorite spots in Canterbury. There are many lovely shade trees, pretty flower beds, and a nice fountain. Icing on the cake are the mound that you can climb for a view and the city wall, which you can walk on top of. I like to pick up some food at nearby M&S and picnic here. I envy the people who live in the townhouses that front on this park. What an amazing front yard they have!

A wonderful spot just set aside from the hustle and bustle of Canterbury city centre. There is a fabulous Spanish/Mexican themed cafe that serves up a mean latte and some surprisingly good food. An excellent spot to pause before heading back into Canterbury for the history and shops!

Just a short stroll from Canterbury bus station, I found the perfect spot to pass some time before my bus arrived. I spent a lovely time relaxing on a bench and taking a leisurely walk through the park. A charming little escape in the heart of the city!

Canterbury City council have shut the park for 9 months over summer and spaffed £20 million quid of your council tax to do so. It was a great place and now they've shut the whole thing. It was great before and didn't need changing and now it's unusable. Total waste of the best park this end of town.
