Game Keepers is a single-bedroom cottage for two in countryside on the fringe of Brecon Beacons National Park. The property sits on ground level, with an open-plan living space combining a sitting area with a kitchen and dining zone. The bedroom contains a double bed; there is a bathroom with bath and toilet. An enclosed garden with furniture opens from the cottage. Wifi, bed linen and towels are provided, and there is parking on site.

The location suits walkers, cyclists and bird watchers—red kites feed in the area and buzzards are common. Rivers and streams in the locality hold salmon, sewin and trout. Llangadog village, three miles away, has pubs and restaurants. Llandovery, also three miles distant, is an ancient market town with history and places to eat. The National Botanical Gardens of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens are accessible from here. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The cottage has narrow, steep stairs; there are three steps to the entrance.

Great carpark with quick access onto the trails. Low rating as at the time of writing storm damage means that many trees are blocking the marked trails and they are closed with no clear alternative provided.

Excellent walk for all the family. Clean and tidy area well maintained footpaths. Plenty of on site parking. Well worth a visit

Nice walk but the signage is very confusing, especially if you want to do the 1 hour blue trail. Currently the much of the blue trail is blocked by fallen trees.

It’s a lovely 2 mile walk, with the option to expand it to 10, 13 mile plus if desired. It’s a great mix of what the area has to offer, mixed woodland, charming little bridges across the stream cutting into the valley. Steep up/down hills and loose shale in places, that peek out above the trees. There’s a couple of great places along the stream in which you can picnic, stop and play with dogs or just sit on the bench watching the stream. If you like to explore or forage there are many side tracks up into the trees or take the forestry tracks up into the woods. Keepers is a lovely little spot, that you can spend an hour on a circular loop to enjoy some of what Brechfa forest has to offer.
