Sheriffs Lodge
Carmarthenshire
Sheriffs Lodge spreads across three storeys, starting with a kitchen and dining space on the ground floor where you can prepare meals with an electric oven, hob and full fridge-freezer. The first floor holds a living room with woodburner (initial logs included), Freeview TV and DVD player, plus a double bedroom and bathroom. A second double bedroom with two single beds sits on the top floor. The whole property is yours alone, with bed linen, towels and wi-fi included; central heating and electricity are covered in the rate.
The cottage occupies the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, in open countryside near the villages of Llangadog and Llandovery, both three miles away. You have an enclosed garden with patio and furniture, plus on-site parking. The Red Kite Feeding Centre is close by, and the rivers running through the area hold salmon, sewin and trout. Walking, cycling and bird-watching are the obvious draws; the National Botanical Gardens of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens lie within reach, and the market town of Llandeilo—nine miles south—has an antique centre, shops and a castle. One dog is welcome. No smoking throughout.
