Predator Experience

We just wrapped up a wonderful 3 nights stay at Great Langdale Glamping and couldn't recommend it more! The views are absolutely amazing specially waking up to that scenery every day was unforgettable. The pod, itself was exceptionally clean, tidy, and incredibly well-organized. They have thought of everything, every necessary item you could possibly need for your stay was provided and was spotlessly clean. It truly felt like a cozy home away from home. It is a working, live farm and the entire atmosphere feels completely authentic and natural. If you want a peaceful get away surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot.

Our first stay at Great Langdale Glamping was absolutely wonderful from arrival to departure today. The spacious pod, really a small cabin, we stayed in was beautifully positioned with the most awe-inspiring views down the valley and around the surrounding hills and was incredibly well furnished and equipped with everything we needed for our three night stay. The pod was very warm and cosy with underfloor heating, lots of piping hot water and the wood burning stove was ultra efficient! It was so lovely to completely switch off with no WiFi but we appreciated the DAB radio to keep up with the footy scores 😊 The wood fired hot tub worked like a dream and was very special and well used, even during a short shower on Saturday afternoon. Blissful! The owners and their family were so helpful and friendly and it was great to see all their hard work raising their Herdwick sheep, their truly free range hens, with eggs for sale, and the planting all around the site to encourage wild life. Thank you for the welcome pack of nibbles plus the very acceptable 8.5% cider! A very special place indeed which we can highly recommend.

We had the most amazing time! The views are out of this world! The pod was so comfy! The hot tub...well... absolutely fabulous! We stayed in Harrison Stickle, myself, my daughter and 3yr old granddaughter. My GD was just amazed by everything she saw. These ppl cannot do enough for you to make your experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Johnathon gave us the best welcome (while Nic had a well deserved social evening) he even started the wood fired hot tub for us...and cooked our frozen pizza and garlic bread as I had forgotten there was no oven 🙈 There are low level walks straight from your door (I have reduced mobility) which we thoroughly enjoyed. We cannot wait to come back! ❤️

My partner and I stayed here this week. Everything was perfect! Great communication beforehand and a lovely welcome. Easy check in, good instructions for everything we needed and super comfy and cosy. We were worried about the weather with it being January, but warm hot tub, log fire and underfloor heating had that sorted. Beautiful location and a nice picturesque, easy walk to the local pub was a bonus. Thank you, we will be back!
