Step into The Farmhouse at Polehanger and the scale of the place hits you immediately. A high-ceilinged hallway opens onto interconnected living spaces that manage to feel both grand and genuinely liveable. The original farmhouse bones are there, but everything has been refreshed with quality furnishings and finishes that work without fuss. You get two separate kitchens—one fitted with an Aga and full equipment, the other with its own electric cooking and appliances—so large groups can spread out or work in parallel. There are two living areas, each with a woodburner or smart TV depending on which you choose, plus a snug for quieter moments.
Six bedrooms sleep twelve. Five have kingsize beds; one comes with a superking. Three bathrooms handle the scale—one ensuite to the main bedroom with a walk-in shower, another ensuite off the kitchen area, and a family bathroom upstairs. Ground source heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. The property sits within 400 acres of working farmland with gardens, a tennis court, and table tennis in the garage. Parking is on-site for five cars. One small dog is welcome (kept on lead, as this is an active farm). No smoking indoors. The nearest landmark is Polehanger Farms Ltd.

We had a great stay at Polehanger recently. We used both the farmhouse and eyebright cabin. They were both so well equipped and had entertainment for both adults and children of all ages. The house, cabin and grounds are so well kept and beautiful. There are wonderful walks nearby to the village. This is our second visit here and we are planning our next.

The most beautiful and inspiring home! I stayed here for a long weekend and the house was perfect in every way. Nestled in the most immaculate grounds where there is nothing but the sounds of nature. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! Absolutely in awe of this wonderfully perfect farmhouse.

Polehanger Farmhouse offered the perfect location to facilitate a well-being day for our female founder clients. There was great communication from the Polehanger team, ensuring the seamless running of the day from start to finish. Our needs were accommodated in every possible way, from the plentiful parking to the positioning of furniture. The beautiful setting included direct access to countryside walks comprising of fields, river and woodland. The house was impeccably presented and came with a fully equipped farmhouse kitchen warmed by its very own Aga. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We recently stayed at the Farmhouse for a friend’s 40th birthday celebration. The place is incredible. We didn’t leave all weekend and spent most of it in the gorgeous, perfectly maintained garden. The house itself is so comfortable and had everything we needed, with a real home from home feel. As a group we’ve stayed in a few places around the UK but all agreed this was our favourite, we hope to be back. Thank you Charlotte and Andrew for all your help in making sure we had a wonderful stay.
