Couldn’t fault the place friendly helpful staff well maintained great fishing kids loved it , reasonable prices in shop and the club house . Would have given 5stars but for one problem which needs addressing “Dogs” should not be allowed on the site our cabin was same one as last year and we were all delighted when we pulled up until I opened car door and to my horror was met with couple in cabin facing ours with a Rottweiler Really !!!! . We had 3 young children with us and as a caring protective grandparent that was the last thing I needed , told kids to keep well away it’s totally ridiculous plus dogs in general barking during day and late at night and defaecating everywhere hoping to return next year hope all dogs are banned . Take them to a kennels were they belong . When customers are wishing for a relaxing weekend fishing or camping definitely do not need that hassle and aggravation

A comfortable, spacious and very well managed site with excellent facilities which is easily accessible from the A1 in Bedfordshire. The site is well staffed and has controlled access making it secure. Some road noise but this did not affect our stay. Ideal for local exploring and is a 5 minute walk to the railway station which is on the main line to London in just 45 minutes. We paid £30 per night for our motorhome in May 26 which we thought good value and would firmly recommend Henlow Bridge Lakes.

Having visited the site briefly to visit a friend and her son fishing, my first impressions were wow what a well kept park, lovely and clean presenting well managed grounds & security. Unfortunately I was greeted in a fairly abrupt manner and told I wasn’t allowed on the lake to give 30 minutes of fishing Tuition to my friends 10 year old son on his birthday! We will not be returning any time soon Which is Sad as the complex and lakes are very well kept.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Henlow Fishing Lake, and I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. My son thoroughly enjoyed every moment — the fishing, the peaceful surroundings, and the overall atmosphere made it a truly special trip for him. Seeing how much he loved it made the experience even more memorable for us as a family. The service was simply unreal. The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after, always friendly, attentive, and happy to help with anything we needed. It’s rare to come across such genuine hospitality. The cabin we stayed in was amazing as well — beautifully presented, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing break by the lake. It really exceeded our expectations. Thank you to everyone at Henlow Fishing Lake for creating such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending you to friends and family!
