Use to be good, not anymore. (New ownership I’m told?) £27 for renting a bike for me and my 3 year old to sit on the back for 2 hours (the minimum duration) No more electric bikes so don’t expect to travel for the full 2 hours if you have a passenger - you’ll be exhausted. I’m a relatively fit 28 year old and with the quality of bikes provided I didn’t even want to attempt getting too far. Bikes they do rent have no kickstands or anything - very difficult to get on and off with a little passenger if you want to stop (I had to lean on a tree to stabilise the bike). Forced to wear a helmet for health and safety. you use to be able to make your own judgement but this has now been taken away “since the company could be sued”. I’d have thought the wavers covered that. Overall a very different experience to what I am use to here and I won’t be coming back anytime soon. If you’ll ride regularly this summer, get your own bike. - The staff was nice enough. - In sum: more expensive and more restrictions for less options and a worse overall experience which limits a young families ability to enjoy the trails. You should just walk and save yourself the money.

We've hired bikes from Alice Holt bike hire a few times and every time the service and experience has been excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly with getting our toddler set up. Alice Holt is a beautiful place to ride so all round its a great way to spend a few hours. Will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely amazing service! So helpful! Will definitely use again! We rented a tailgate, but out son screamed his head off, so had to change to the seat. And they chnaged with no issues. Excellent customer service!!!!

Our favourite way to spend a Sunday is on the bike in Alice Holt. The forest is amazingly kept, the terrain is exciting for my son to navigate the paths, and with electric, gear or a trailer bike, there is so much choice. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be returning soon.
