Broad View Farm - Ash Lodge

Ash Lodge sits on a working farm within the South Downs National Park, surrounded by walking country that ranges from forest trails at Alice Holt to the open chalk hills beyond. The location puts you within striking distance of both serious rambling and the pubs dotted through the park that punctuate a day outdoors. A mile's drive takes you to the nearest one.

All three bedrooms are on the ground floor: a double with ensuite shower, a kingsize, and two singles share a second bathroom. The open-plan living space has doors out to a terrace where there's a barbecue and garden furniture. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric cooker, proper fridge, microwave and coffee machine—and a sitting area with a smart TV opens from the same room. Electricity, heating, wifi and linen are all included; you bring yourself and your dog if you have one (kept on a lead, as this is a sheep farm). One pet stays free.

The 100-acre grounds are shared with other properties on site. Access is via a track that is semi rough in places. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00. Smoking is not permitted inside.
