The Long Barn

The Long Barn is a single-storey detached property in Essex countryside, with everything on one level: three bedrooms, a bathroom, and an open-plan living and dining area connected to the kitchen. One bedroom has a super king bed; the other two have two single beds each. The bathroom includes a bath with shower and a heated towel rail. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with heating throughout. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, hob, fridge-freezer and washing machine.

Outside there is parking for two cars on site. One well-behaved pet can stay at no extra charge. A travel cot and highchair are available if you ask when you book. The property is no-smoking.

The location offers access to walking routes and footpaths across the wider Essex countryside. Chelmsford itself, a short drive away, has parks, shops, restaurants and bars, plus historical sites including Hylands House and its estate. Those wanting quieter surroundings will find RHS Garden Hyde Hall within reach.
