Wilson Apartment is a first-floor conversion in a Victorian farmhouse, reached by stairs and finished in 2021. The single bedroom contains a double bed; there is one shower room with a walk-in shower, and a combined living and kitchen space. A dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge-freezer are fitted; the essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. Access to a shared laundry space with washing machine and tumble dryer is available, and there is private parking for one car on site.
The apartment takes its design cues from the life of Edward Wilson, the polar explorer and naturalist. High ceilings and original sash windows remain from the building's origins, while soft greens and botanical details create a modern feel throughout. Cheltenham itself hosts major festivals including the Gold Cup at the racecourse and the Jazz Festival, plus the Wilson Museum dedicated to the explorer. The town has regency parks, theatres, designer shops and restaurants within walking distance. The wider Cotswolds—Winchcombe, Chipping Campden, Bourton-on-the-Water and Bibury—are within 40 minutes' drive. Smoking is not permitted.
