The Yew Tree Restaurant: Situated within a fork between two A-roads, their small outside space overlooks the carpark. But inside, their moderately-sized, effectively air-conditioned dining room contains fully-appointed tables where the linen napkins and polished cutlery and glassware begin to hint at the truly exceptional meal you are about to enjoy. The Yew Tree offers truly top-flight dining at mid-level pricing - a real bargain - and a great range of wine also reasonably priced. Portion sizes are spot-on to allow room for three courses for the hungry, but two courses will suffice for the smaller appetite. Service is friendly, efficient and courteous. Even the facilities are above-average. Don't be put off by the exterior, get in a car (or better taxi!), get over there from wherever you are in the Cotswolds, step inside and be prepared to be delighted and wonderfully surprised. Last minute decision to stay in Stow , and I have to say we were delighted with the hotel. Our room was lovely, the staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had booked a table for dinner, and the food was excellent. I really have nothing bad to say. Other than you need to book - the restaurant was full. Breakfast was also lovely, with both hot and cold options. Free parking , close to Stow and a perfect base. I would not hesitate to go back

Highly recommend this lovely hotel. Service was excellent. Super friendly staff. Food was exceptional. Location was great, especially if you have a car. Ample parking. A little more difficult without a car. Set on two busy roads, but easy access to nearby villages and a good bus service, which stops right outside hotel. Excellent overall.

We stayed here for a few nights and had a lovely time! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, rooms were well equipped with a TV and coffee machine and they also had air conditioning, which was needed! Room was quite hot and a bit dusty in places but otherwise super clean and comfortable. We'll definitely be back!
