Just returnec from a one night stay Warm friendly welcome from all the staff. Had an evening meal from the Sunday memi, unfortunately could not have a steak as the gas had run out and the same this morning so no hot water. Definately not the fault of the pub. Offered alternative and as a gesture gave us a discount. I.would recomend it to anyone. Nice room in one of the cottages and spotless. Thank you all for our lovely stay. Oh forgot to mention nice rear garden .

So we booked the Premier Double Room via Wotif. I won't lie, my first impression of the room had me loading the cases back into the car, wondering what we had booked. The room was huge, on the ground floor to accommodate our excessive travel load, but it was tired and a bit dated. What changed our minds was what happened next. We sat down to dinner, and within minutes, the power went out due to the storm and extreme heat. Almost immediately, the chef appeared with ice cream, followed closely by pots of olives... and a lot of apologies. As time went on, the chef came out again to check if we were okay. At this point, I asked if we could maybe have a cheeseboard, happy to pay. Before I knew it, we were all enjoying cheeseboards on the house! The room's view, the food served, staff attention, and the incredible, if not “sparkling”, manager (sorry, I never got your name) made up for it….you are amazing, even under stress you remained calm! Thank you for great memories to take home to Aus ❤️

We enjoyed our two nights stay at Colesbourne Inn very much, so comfortable and cosy. The lovely buildings and the elegant decoration are adorable. We also loved the breakfast with the eggs Benedict and so many other varieties. Dinner in the Inn was really delicious, we tried different styles (british + indian), ist was absolutly stunning. We also highly recommend the real Ales, the Swordfish Ale was marvellous and we liked very much as well the 6X Ale. We admired the young and very professionell personnel, esp. the young ladies - marvellous that you guys run the pub on a busy evening. But the was one fly in the ointment...our room (No. 1) could have been more clean... cobwebs and its inhabitants in every corner and other peoples hair in the shower is'nt that nice. The bathroom needs a makeover, the paint of the ceiling is falling apart from humidity and there mold in the shower and one the tiles. Nevertheless you are doing a great job. :)

We stayed at The Colesbourne Inn for one night while travelling through the Cotswolds. The room was reasonable and clean enough, but we were surprised to find there was no shower, only a bathtub. To be fair, this may have been mentioned in the description and we simply overlooked it. The room was also a bit noisy. We could clearly hear our neighbours, which affected the overall comfort. We had dinner in the pub. The fish dish was very good and well prepared. The burger, however, was disappointing. The meat had a rather processed texture, more like a low quality sausage patty than a proper beef burger. Breakfast was good and set us up well for the day. Overall, an acceptable stay with some positives, but also a few areas that could be improved.
