Possibly one of the most interesting museums I’ve ever been to! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the whole museum is really well put together and has lots of fascinating facts that are very well presented. I would definitely recommend it for any history/medicine lovers!

Awesome day out and very affordable, and staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming. Very devoted to the experience too! Only thing I would say is that it is only little, so you don’t need to devote a whole day to it, however they do have a sister museum about romans too!

Sick to Death in Chester is a really interesting and different place to visit. It’s inside an old church, which makes it feel even more special. The museum shows how medicine has changed over the years, from strange old treatments to big medical discoveries. Some parts are a bit gross, but in a fun way, and there are interactive bits that make it more than just reading boards on the wall. It’s easy to spend over an hour there without getting bored. I found it both fun and informative, and it’s good value for money. If you like unusual places and learning something new, it’s definitely worth going. There is some car parks in the area if you traveling by car. It wasn't busy so it was nice and peaceful to walk around and explore

The best museum of Chester! I love dark history and spooky places so this museum was perfect for me. It tells you the story of medecine evolution and specifically the plague that happened in the city long ago. The museum is very well made with immersive decor and a gloomy ambiance which I adore. It can be quite gory so if you're sensitive or if you have young kids maybe it's not for you. Otherwise, you'll love it! I learned a lot of things too so it's a mix of fun and educational which is great. The souvenir shop in the end is also great. I bought a cute plague doctor plushie. They also have pins, decorations, books and more.
