Stayed for 5 nights at this beautiful family ran site. Brilliant self check in system, allows campfires and the owners are lovely who let you do your own thing but also take time out of their day to come and check on people daily to check for any issues but also just to see how your day was. Only issue I noticed was the lads sink was slightly blocked so didn't drain very fast, I informed the owner next time I went to the toilet it was already sorted. Will 100% be returning.

What a wonderful hidden gem. On the outskirts of Chester. Such a great location for exploring the city and beyond. The site is well organised clean and has everything and more you could want from a site. Hot clean showers, ample toilets and a clean kitchen with use of a fridge and freezer. The nature pond is stunning, we spent lots of time around it looking for fish, dragon flies, frogs and more. They also do pizza Fridays, yum diddly yum. The bar was open Friday and Saturday evening. Making it a perfect first night eating pizza, sipping a GnT on the decking watching the kids play together. I can't recommend the site enough. I would give it 10 stars if I could

A brilliant no frills site. We had a wonderful time, the children loved being free to explore. The facilities were clean, the hosts were friendly and the pizza oven was fabulous! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

We love it here! We had the most perfect wedding at Kings Acre back in 2017 and have returned time and time again ever since. Such a relaxed and easy going atmosphere that takes you away from it all and lets you unwind. It is quirky and unfussy and run by the most wonderdul family. To us its just a perfect escape from Chester city centre. We always introduce new friends to the place and they love it as much as we do. Last night we all sat round the campfire listening to the local owls. Perfect evening.
