What visitors say

Rebekah Garner

Friendly atmosphere from staff and visitors. Opportunity to sit in the bar and talk to people as well as opportunity to sit in a the lounge which is quieter and spacious. Locals chat about history I like to visit for a few drinks, sometimes bring my laptop to study. All the facilities are great, everything is kept organised and clean, everyone is welcome and it's a truly a great place.

We had our sons christening reception here, the room was big and is laid out perfect for these types of parties. They had an outdoor play area that’s perfect to keep the kids entertained! The staff are so lovely and helpful they even put out jugs of juice for the little ones. The hire was so affordable and the drinks are cheap too! Highly recommend and will 100% be booking here again for our next party! Thank you to all at the waggon!

Great pub to visit as a local member of the community, very nice staff with friendly service. Always has some sort of entertainment on, including their own sports teams (pool and darts). I will definitely be returning for another drink or two :)

Such a great pub! Great atmosphere, great staff. There's always something going on whether it be a live band or the footy!. And one of the best things about the waggon and horses is the amount that they do for the local community always going above and beyond! :)
