The Bull Pen is a converted farm building near Chichester, designed with everything needed for a self-catering stay. Three bedrooms—two doubles and one with bunks—each have their own bathroom with shower or bath. Ground-floor living includes a kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine; a dining area and lounge with Smart TV; and direct access to an enclosed garden with patio and seating. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
The cottage sits on a working farm 100 yards from Compton village, where a shop and tea room are within easy walking distance. Bridle paths lead towards the South Downs Way, 2 miles away. Chichester cathedral and its restaurants lie 10 miles south; Goodwood racecourse and Cowdray Park are nearby for events. The property has disabled access facilities including a lowered kitchen worktop and shower seats available on request. Note that a small unfenced duck pond lies opposite the drive entrance.

Nice cosy converted barn, however the host would walk in unannounced and we also spotted someone in the garden at night snooping around in the dark!

Be warned - when booking through the owners and not via the website they will double book you, and choose whoever is paying more, even if you have already sent your deposit over. We have a very sad AuDHD 9 year old whom was very excited about spending Christmas away with all his family, only to be told the next day after the booking had been verbally confirmed that someone else is now having the Barn. This is down to the owner not removing the booking availability from the website even though there was a verbal agreement in person, that we would be booking and sending payment and completed forms that same day! As a family of 9 we are heartbroken to have this Christmas holiday taken from us.

A lovely stay at this air BnB, nicely put together converted barn with a lot of space and rooms. Could use better WiFi and basic household stuff. However the hot tub is certainly a win!
