Compton Farm Cottages – The Dairy sits on the edge of a family farm in the South Downs National Park, within walking distance of Compton village and its shop and tea room. The surrounding countryside offers easy access to bridlepaths and the South Downs Way itself, making this a natural base for downland walks. Chichester cathedral town is 10 miles away; Goodwood and other attractions are within a short drive.
The cottage has two bedrooms (one double, one with twin single beds), a bathroom, and one ensuite. The open-plan living and kitchen area centres on an open fire and looks out through French doors to a lawned garden with patio and sitting area. The kitchen is fully fitted for self-catering, with a dishwasher and washer-dryer among its appliances. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and fuel are provided. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Parking for two cars is on site. No smoking throughout.
The property suits families or groups of four looking for countryside rather than seaside. Note that there is a small unfenced duck pond opposite the entrance to the drive.

Nice cosy converted barn, however the host would walk in unannounced and we also spotted someone in the garden at night snooping around in the dark!

Be warned - when booking through the owners and not via the website they will double book you, and choose whoever is paying more, even if you have already sent your deposit over. We have a very sad AuDHD 9 year old whom was very excited about spending Christmas away with all his family, only to be told the next day after the booking had been verbally confirmed that someone else is now having the Barn. This is down to the owner not removing the booking availability from the website even though there was a verbal agreement in person, that we would be booking and sending payment and completed forms that same day! As a family of 9 we are heartbroken to have this Christmas holiday taken from us.

A lovely stay at this air BnB, nicely put together converted barn with a lot of space and rooms. Could use better WiFi and basic household stuff. However the hot tub is certainly a win!
