Walking into The Barn, you'll find the living and dining space immediately opens up on the ground floor, with a woodburner, Freeview TV and doors out to the enclosed patio. The kitchen is fitted for proper cooking—electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and all the usual equipment—and there's a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms: a double and a pair of singles, sharing a bathroom with shower. The property is entirely yours, and one well-behaved dog stays free.

What sets this barn apart is the private hot tub for six and the garden with outdoor seating and barbecue. Essentials like bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included, along with initial logs for the fire. There's private parking for two cars and a bike store. The owners provide a welcome pack and extra touches for dogs. No smoking throughout.

Chichester itself has the Festival Theatre and shopping; Arundel's castle and antique shops are fifteen minutes away. The South Downs are on your doorstep for walking, and beaches including West Wittering and Brighton are within thirty minutes' drive.

Wonderful brunch experience. Beautiful quality food and lovely presentation. It is on the pricey side (for us), but worth it for the quality ingredients. Nice shop too with some great gifts and home items.

This was my first time here and I’m so impressed! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were incredible. Debbie and the rest of the lovely staff looked after my friend and me so well. Debbie was incredibly mindful, even proactively offering us the Wi-Fi password. The food was superb—the shakshuka with halloumi and the iced chai were both delicious. It’s a beautiful, friendly hidden gem of a place. I'll definitely be back and will recommend this to more friends!

Quaint and friendly. It serves good coffee and great food. There are lots of tables but they filled up quickly. We went at 10.30 in the morning and npt a problem to get a table.

What a wonderful find. A tardis of a place filled with wonderful shop items to buy and hundreds of cookbooks to look at in the cafe area. Impeccable, friendly and professional service and the menu was wonderful. Really quirkily charming place that I could happily spend hours in. Amazing chalets in the garden for when the weather is better. I had Welsh rarebit for breakfast and a flat white -terrible photo I’m sorry! Great coffee, delicious food. We will be back. I’m keen to try the whole menu over time! Thank you for a great first experience.
