Chichester Cathedral and the city centre lie within easy reach, but The Cottage sits on the edge of West Burton village where the South Downs dominate the landscape. This single-storey conversion of an old stable opens directly onto a patio with countryside beyond, and the vaulted living room floods with light through large west-facing doors—ideal for catching the afternoon sun. A wood burner provides warmth through colder months.
The layout separates the kitchen from two bedrooms and bathrooms, with the living and dining space in between. One bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite shower; the other contains a double and a single bed, giving flexibility for different group sizes. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over. Parking is on site, and essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided. The cottage is non-smoking.
The surrounding villages—Bignor and Sutton are both within 2 miles—have local pubs serving real ales. Bury Hill lies a mile away. This is walking and driving country, with the South Downs on your doorstep.
